NEW YORK, Feb 25, 2015/ — Unveiling his Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection on February 15th, Yigal Azrouel proved once again why is a favorite among the social set.
Proposing architectural silhouettes with his signature refined elegance displayed in texturally rich furs and metallic embossed jacquards, Mr. Azrouël made the collection interesting with bold color-blocking and formulaic patterns.
Drawing inspirations from the likes of Man Ray, Malevich, and Bauhaus, and their non-traditional approach to art and design, Mr. Azrouel added deliberate irregularities. Cases in point – python patchwork, intersecting lines and interlaced panel construction are arranged in a variety of smart suiting options and dramatic dresses.
Non-traditional without being overbearing; hard without being harsh, the Yigal Azrouel Fall 2015 collection reflects the current zeitgeist of always questioning the status quo.
