NEW YORK, Feb 15, 2008 / FW/ — Cherokee expands to South America with the opening of boutiques inside the Falabella’s Tottus Stores in Chile. Within the next 12 months, the company also expects to open locations in Peru, Israel, Brazil, the Middle East and India.
“We are pleased with the progress we have made with our ‘world branding’ strategies as our international retail sales of Cherokee have now annually eclipsed $1.0 billion,” Larry Sass, Senior Vice President, Business Development said in a statement.
“We continue to aggressively pursue partnerships throughout Western Europe, Asia, Africa, Russia and Australia and believe we can develop several new partnerships over the next 12 to 24 months. In addition, we will begin to expand our brand representations to capitalize on international opportunities as well,” Sass continued.
