DALLAS, Dec 9, 2009/ FW/ — Trendy retailer Target has done it again.
Known for its collaboration with high street designers and make high fashion available at affordable prices, it has now made the pop-up shop a fashion destination with an unexpected boost in popularity with teenage blogging sensation Tavi Gevinson.
Gevinson who are friends with Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte created a behind-the-scenes access video promoting the highly anticipated Rodarte for Target collection that is expected to hit store shelves on December 20th.
Now on YouTube, a whole new set of Target shoppers are keeping an eye on the collection with the added bonus of the Target To-Go pop-up shops putting the Rodarte stylings out in front of consumers a week before the fashion collection hits the company’s stores on Dec. 20.
And where are the Target To-Go shops located?
Currently, there is one in New York’s Greenwich Village (at at Gansevoort and Washington Streets), one in downtown San Francisco (Mint Plaza between Market and Mission streets) and on in Washington D.C. (M Street NW and Wisconsin Ave.)
