NEW YORK, Jan 7, 2014/ — With the Polar Vortex upon us, seeing the Noon by Noor Pre-Fall 2014 collection reminds us that it is warm somewhere. Inspired by the Arabian Desert, the Noon by Noor Pre-Fall 2014 collection is reminiscent of dawn and dusk in the desert.
Proposed in navy, jade, camel, coral, burnt orange and black, the collection recalls the arid expanse of the sand and heat, its beauty embedded in the modern and polished silhouettes of dresses and separates.
Eveningwear is elegant, understated and distinguished with unexpected details found in the luxurious textile combinations of heavy crepe and sheer organza as well as leather and felt. Ornate embellishments intricately adorn neoprene and sheer organza, whilst fringe beading and sequins gracefully accent collars and hemlines.
Meanwhile, the label’s signature prints have a graphic emphasis, illustrating abstract desert landscapes, gazelle horns and mineral patterns. Influenced by the 1920s garcon look, straight silhouettes and masculine tailoring create an effortless, androgynous aesthetic.
