DALLAS, Dec 9, 2009 / FW/ — New Balance and Nine West continues to cater to the high demand for fashionable sneakers as the two footwear makers continues its collaboration for Fall 2009 / Winter 2010.
While the Spring 2009 collection offered bright color combinations, Fall will convey fabrics, prints and embellishments that reflect key fashion trends of the season including studs and graffiti. New silhouettes are also being introduced with the addition of Velcro-strapped high-tops.
New Balance created a footwear collection that combines the innovative performance and material technology for which the brand is known, with the female fashion and style know-how of Nine West. The Fall 2009 collection will be available in limited distribution worldwide.
The New Balance for Nine West collection is designed by a team led by Savania Davies-Keiller and Roberto Crivello, New Balance Creative Directors and Fred Allard, Nine West Creative Director. Material, color and design direction come from both parties in a true collaboration of talent, technology and design.
Key styles will include:
Constellations: The new high-top silhouette get a splash of studs for a look that is both rock and stroll.
Military: Metallic straps contrasted with rich military hues whips a classic sneaker style into shape.
Graffiti: Sneaks go street with a graphic graffiti printed high-top accented with bright colored laces.
Cheetah: The classic 410 sneaker gets a wild update with cheetah-printed suede.
The collection is now available at Nine West stores and key New Balance stores. Shoes will retail from $70 to $100.
