Moore Grads Featured in New Fashion Book

PHILADELPHIA, Dec 2, 2010 / — Ten graduates from Moore College of Art & Design are featured in a new book, Emerging Fashion Designers I, showcasing the talent of top American fashion design programs for the year 2009.

Written by Sally Congdon-Martin, Emerging Fashion Designers I includes creations of more than 100 designers from 16 schools across the U.S., including 8 from Drexel University and 3 from Philadelphia University.

Moore fashion design students featured from the Class of 2009 include: Alana Bakunas, Ashley Banning, Ariana Johnson, Olivia Bialas, Jenevieve Froncek, Lauren Lafey, Allison Montague, Michele Notarianni, Cody Scott and Kelly Wiersema.

To celebrate Emerging Fashion Designers I a book release party will be held at Philadelphia’s Vagabond Boutique from 4:30 – 7 pm on Friday, December 3. It is free and open to the public.
