Living up to its French name, Joie Fall 2014 was inspired by a girl roaming through Paris on a long, autumn afternoon, exploring hidden alleyways and local flea markets.
As Serge Azria, the Creative Director and CEO of Joie said, “Perfectly undone with moody undertones, [the Joie girl] look [for Fall 2014] is complemented by a laissez-faire approach to life as she strolls down city streets, sipping wine at a café and taking in the city’s charms.”
Sweater coats and statement wool outerwear offer rich silhouettes in warm neutrals and luxe textures, while plaids offset pops of vibrant color. Paired with a menswear inspired brogue, feminine dresses exude a dressed down, natural elegance while the collection’s classic camel trench is a nod to a modern gamine.
