NEW YORK, Feb 19, 2015/ — With the intriguing title “G.I. League”, General Idea designer Bumsuk Choi proposes a change in the venerable preppy look with slightly rebellious twist to the classic look.
Inspired by the hallowed halls of the Ivy League schools, Choi tapped into his imagination to introduce updated twists on classic silhouettes for the slightly rebellious “preppy”.
Standout pieces include the oversized peacoat produced in upgraded wool blends, denim and cotton fabrics. Evening coats with double-layer overlapping contrasting collared lapels round out the collection.

The Autumn / Winter 2015 collection marks the 11th season of General Idea showing in New York City. Founded in 2003 by Bumsuk Choi ,General Idea explores the line between luxury and elevated wearable streetwear. General Idea is available at fine retailers worldwide.
