LOS ANGELES, Nov 12, 2013/ — The British Fashion Council (BFC), in partnership with luxury fashion e-tailer STYLEBOP.com, celebrated the London Style Suites – an initiative to promote a selection of Britain’s most talented red carpet designers in Los Angeles – with a party hosted by Poppy Delevingne at the Chateau Marmont on Friday, November 8th.
Other notable attendees who came out to support the British fashion designers included Dree Hemingway (wearing Preen by Thornton Bregazzi), Suki Waterhouse (wearing Emilia Wickstead), Liberty Ross, Jimmy Iovine, Kiernan Shipka (wearing Preen by Thornton Bregazzi), Jaimie Alexander (wearing Osman), Holland Roden, Ed Weeks, Jesse Williams, George Kotsiopoulos, Chloe Norgaard, L’Wren Scott, Erdem, Candice Lake, Brooke Davenport, Kelly Sawyer Patricof and famed fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth.
The cocktail party followed two full days of press and stylist appointments in the bungalows and cottages at the Chateau Marmont, with each designer and STYLEBOP.com taking over a cottage and transforming it into their own private styling suite.

David Koma
A BFC Fashion Forward recipient, Koma’s clients already include Eva Longoria, Beyoncé and Naomi Campbell.
Emilia Wickstead
Shortlisted for the 2013 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize and the BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund, Wickstead provides her clients, including The Duchess of Cambridge, with a made-to-measure service.
Mary Katrantzou
Emerging Talent Award winner at the 2011 British Fashion Awards, Katrantzou’s clients already include Diane Kruger, Rihanna and Jessica Alba.
Matthew Williamson
Globally established British designer of red carpet dresses, Williamson’s clients include Sienna Miller, Andrea Riseborough and Allison Williams.
Osman
BFC NEWGEN graduate and BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund nominee, Osman’s clients include Selena Gomez, Olivia Wilde, Kristen Stewart.
Preen by Thornton Bregazzi
One of London’s most distinctive and successful labels, Preen’s clients include Cate Blanchett, Kate Bosworth and Amanda Seyfried.
London Style Suites is a key event in the BFC’s activity to increase the presence of British designers in international markets; LA is the home of the red carpet and activity in this market is aimed at securing designers’ reputations as the go-to brands for the increasing number of events during the awards season.
BAFTA Los Angeles was established as a Californian public-benefit non-profit corporation in 1987 to serve as a bridge between Hollywood and British production and entertainment business communities.
Each of the participating designers listed above, as well as Nicholas Kirkwood, Sophia Webster, Roksanda Ilincic and Marios Schwab, created an additional design especially for STYLEBOP.com. Combined, these 10 pieces form the STYLEBOP.com Red Carpet Capsule Collection, available for pre-order exclusively at STYLEBOP.com from January 2014 onwards. On Saturday 9th November, the 2013 BAFTA Britannia Awards took place in Los Angeles.
