Founded in London in 1905 as Wilsdorf and Davis after its founders Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred, Rolex did not officially become Rolex until 1915 when it was registered in Switzerland and then moving to Geneva in 1918 under its new name.
Philippe Patek was founded in Geneva in 1851 by Antoni Patek and Adrien while Omega, the first watch on the moon was founded by Louis Brandt in 1848.
