NEW YORK, Sep 19, 2010 / — Where will you find Minx nails during New York Fashion Week? The latest craze in nail treatment, Minx was spotted at Alice + Olivia, CoCo & Breezy and at Dennis Basso.
Alice + Olivia
In collaboration with Alice + Olivia’s designer Stacey Bendet, Minx also created custom patterns for the Alice + Olivia Spring 2011 presentation, including dalmation, flowers, zebra, colored checkerboard, and a variety of other unique patterns and designs.
Models were Minxed by New York manicurist Tracylee Percival.
CoCo & Breezy
Extreme eyewear and accessories designers CoCo & Breezy offered Minx manicures to their guests at their fashion presentation on September 13, 2010.
A Minx “Bar” was set up at the bar, appropriately enough, and the Polish Bar of Brooklyn applied Minx manicures to the packed crowd while CoCo & Breezy, the twin designers, selected Golden Lightning Cheetah Minx for themselves.
Dennis Basso
Minx created custom Salmon Minx for the Dennis Basso Spring 2011 show held on September 14,2010. Models had both fingers and toes Minxed by New York celebrity/session manicurist Lisa Logan.
For those unfamiliar with this new craze, Minx is a solid nail coating that is applied through a process of heat and pressure, and is available in a wide range of metallics, designs and graphics.
