Tommy Hilfiger introduces the TOMMY JEANS Archive capsule collection and goes back to the 90s, his golden age, when the major stars of hip hip, from Aaliyahto TLC, chose his brand to give a preppy twist to their looks, imitating by millions of young people. The American designer proposes 7 of his most iconic garments to the new generations: denim jackets, polo shirts, reversible nylon jackets, rugby polo shirts, but also T-shirts and sweatshirts with the characteristic logo of the TOMMY JEANS flag.
Among these, the item that best embodies the spirit of the nineties is rugby tee with stripes in red, white and blue and the words “TOMMY” that became famous after Snoop Dogg wore it in 1994 during a performance at Saturday Night Live. The image of the rapper with that garment was enough to raise sales to the sky and drive the brand to success.
The new capsule will be available in 15 selected TOMMY HILFIGER and TOMMY JEANS stores worldwide, and online at tommy.com from May 2019. Prices range from $62 for a tee to $325 for a nylon jacket.
