On September 9, 2018, for the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, Lady Gaga wore a Giorgio Armani Privé black silk velvet gown with a crystal-embroidered point d’esprit cape for the red carpet of “A Star is Born”, directed by Bradley Cooper.
Later in the evening, Lady Gaga once again chose to wear Giorgio Armani, donning a bustier dress embroidered with sequins for the Entertainment Weekly’s Must Lit Party.
Elizabeth Debicki wore a Giorgio Armani Privé black silk velvet gown with a deep V-neck and gold bodice embroidered with champagne-color crystals for the red carpet of “Widows,” directed by Steve McQueen.
And that is just on the Atlantic side of North America. On the Pacific Ocean side, Giorgio Armani wardrobed several nominees for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The ceremony took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, CA at 4 PM PT on Sunday, September 9. FXX broadcaste the awards on Saturday, September 15, at 8 PM ET/PT.
Nominee Benj Pasek chose a Giorgio Armani midnight blue one-button shawl collar tuxedo with grosgrain trim, along with a classic evening shirt and a bow tie.
Nominee Justin will wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue patterned three-button shawl collar tuxedo trimmed in velvet. The outfit will be completed with a white evening shirt and a blue velvet bow tie.
Pasek and Paul were nominated for Best Music and Lyrics for their song “In the Market for a Miracle,” which was written for FOX’s telecast of “A Christmas Story Live!”
