NEW YORK, Feb 21, 2015/ — It was billed as a presentation yet going in at the Charlotte Ronson show on Friday, Feb 13th it was a pleasant surprise that it was actually a runway show.
Inspired by the serenity of nature coupled with an abstract urban setting, Charlotte Ronson sent 1960s inspired silhouettes the included miniskirts and updated palazzo pants constructed with ultra delicate and feminine materials.
Lines are softer, purer, and cleaner while prints and laces are bolder. Set in an obscure city garden surrounded by soft oversize flowers and raw granite prints.
This collection is a play on the purity of the late 60’s sportswear construction mixed with ultra delicate and feminine materials. Lines are softer, purer, and cleaner while prints and laces are bolder.
Since the label’s launch in 2005, Charlotte Ronson has become one of the most sought after American womenswear designers and her New York Fashion Week runway shows are a must see event. Her success has also lead to design deals with some of America’s largest, respected retailers and has catapulted her into the spotlight.
