DALLAS, Sep 4, 2010 / FW/ — With McDonald’s and Dunkin Donuts trying to beat Starbucks at its own game, the Seattle-based company is trying to regain the luster of being an upmarket coffee house that is both a gathering place and a scene to be seen.
With fashionistas as one its biggest fans, the road to Lincoln Center was clear for Starbucks. Thru its Starbucks Frappuccino division, the Seattle-based company returns as the official coffee sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
As the official coffee sponsor, Starbucks is putting up the Starbucks Frappuccino® Coffee Drink Lounge at Lincoln Center to serve its famed coffee to attendees.
And as a special treat to the ever calorie-conscious fashionistas, Starbucks is sharing its delicious, low-fat and creamy Starbucks Frappuccino® coffee drinks at Lincoln Center.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week attendees are invited to make their personal favorite flavor statement and stop by for some indulgent “me time” at the lounge to enjoy delicious Starbucks Frappuccino® coffee drinks, made with only the finest arabica coffee beans and high-quality ingredients.
Attendees can also chat with Starbucks Frappuccino® roving fashion reporter to express their love for the best looks of the season or just show off their best at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and be featured on TVs inside the Starbucks Frappuccino® Coffee Drink Lounge as well as www.frappucscino.com/fashionweek after September 8th.
At night, guests at the Lounge can even experience custom-designed cocktails inspired by using Starbucks® bottled Frappuccino® coffee drinks.
Starbucks Frappuccino® will extend the fashion experience beyond the runways by hitting the streets of New York, Chicago and Seattle to surprise and delight fashionable fans by rewarding them with unique prizes, including invitations to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
