NEW YORK, Dec 4, 2009 / FW/ — Los Angeles-based designer Koi Suwannagate does not believe anything should go to waste; hence she has put together some last minute holiday gifts using all her left over fabrics and material.
Koi, who is known for her ethereal fantasy designs where she tempers delicate arty hand-embellishments into elegant real-world clothes, wants to take advantage of the beautiful materials she has available and have some fun in the creation process.
The pieces are one of a kind and will only be sold online on her website. www.koisuwannagate.com
With price ranging from $220 for a pair of cashmere gloves, $580 for a signature flower top, to $2600 for a vintage one of a kind cardigan, better shop early because it might not be there for long. New items will be available for sale on a daily basis.
Born in Bangkok and living in Los Angeles, Koi Suwannagte launched her line in 2001. She made her New York Fashion Week debut in 2007 to high acclaim from fashion press and retailers.
