LOS ANGELES, Feb 21, 2011 / — Minx, Inc. has announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded a patent covering Minx’s method for applying a unique non-liquid graphic coating to nails.
The patent, U.S. Patent No. 7,861,730, entitled “Methods and Devices for Applying Solid Nail Coatings to Mammalian and Artificial Nails,” provides protection in the United States for this novel approach for applying a nail coating laminate.
