MILAN, Feb 24, 2005/ FW/ --- There is always something magical about transforming the old into the new, in taking worn out favorites and breathing new life into the seams, in creating new details on softness produced over time.

Hence it is no surprise that young, enthusiastic and talented pair Fiona and Aleksander of the London based label Sinha – Stanic focus their collection around new forms of luxurious femininity and detail.

Silk georgette, jersey and wool are draped and sand blasted for color, while layering is left to create delicate silhouettes that envelope the body, placing evidence on the duo’s attention to detail.

This is the backbone of their collection, as they use age-old instruments like fabric choice and fine tailoring to make superior garments by turning the tattered into new creative forms and shapes, adding just the right amount of hand sewn detail to give an entirely new temperament.

After graduating from prestigious Central St. Martins in London and being among last years Fashion Fringe Awards 2004 finalists, this is their first time in Milan under the wing of fashion professionals AEFFE.
