DALLAS, Sep 19, 2006/ FW/ --- Located in the heart of San Francisco at 79 New Montgomery Street, the Academy of Art University was founded in 1929.

Currently offering both on-campus and online classes, the Academy of Art provides students fields of study in Advertising, Architecture, Fashion, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Motion Picture & Television, Animation & Visual Effects, Computer Arts New Media, Fine Arts, Illustration, Interior Architecture & Design and Photography.

For its Fashion program, AAU is the only university in the U.S. that gives its outstanding graduating students a chance to show their graduation collection at New York Fashion Week.

Since the Spring 2006 season, the Academy of Art University has held a catwalk presentation under the tents in Bryant Park, the official venue of New York Fashion Week, featuring its students.
