DALLAS, Aug 17, 2006/ FW/ --- New Zealand fashion designer Karen Walker will debut on the New York catwalk on Sep 9, 2006 to unveil her Spring / Summer 2007 collection and launch her latest label, Karen Walker Eyewear.

Known for her original effortless and unpretentious style, Karen Walker is making a permanent move to New York Fashion Week after showing in London for 8 seasons.

Her collection entitled ‘Victory Garden’ will be shown at the historic Altman Building. It will also be the platform in launching the Karen Walker Eyewear here in the U.S.

Aside from designing menswear and womenswear under the label ‘Karen Walker’, the New Zealand designer also has Karen Walker Colours, a selection of paint colors, Swandri by Karen Walker, men’s and women’s lifestyle brand and Karen Walker Jewelry. The Karen Walker eyewear was launched in Australasia last year.

Karen Walker is sold in 130 stores around the world including New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Sydney,
