Colombian-born designer and artist of silk prints, Carlota J. Bentham and her husband,
Marco Bruzzone, a goldsmith, founded Alphonse de la Foret Magnificent Jewels,
the trademark of Arcana International Trading S.A., a Panama-based company, which produces
and exports handmade jewelry.
Surrounded by the tropical jungle, Carlota is inspired by the sounds, fragrances,
delicate intricacy of nature, and the serenity of the presence of life in the rainforests
in the Panama Canal.
With her sculpting and emerald- and coral-cutting experience, she carves cameos, and designs
the Vida, Selva and Flora collections, while Marco leads their team of highly qualified
goldsmiths in the production of the delicate pieces.
