NEW YORK, Sep 17, 2005/ FW/ --- With an English garden complete with trellis as background, Anna Sui set the tone for her collection – a sunny spring day when frolicking is the best thing to do for her beautiful ladies.
Sending soft billowing dresses in paisley and floral prints, imitating spring and summer blooms, Anna Sui proposed cool, light and breezy looks in satin chiffon and crepe-de-chine for Spring / Summer 2006.
Empire dresses with spaghetti straps and sleeveless ankle-length frocks are perfect for afternoon teas, while the mini dresses and Capri-length pants are just right for a walk in the park, or in this case, spending the day in the garden admiring the flowers.
Not forgetting her signature prairie looks, Anna Sui also sent models wearing matching boots
and bags, giving the collection a Southwestern appeal, insuring that middle America will once
again flock to the stores in March to get a hold of at least one of her creations.
And the accessory of choice – long necklaces in a variety of colors that compliments or matches the dress.
