DALLAS, Feb 19, 2001/ FW/ --- Turkey native and Austria based, Atil Kutoglu has been dressing the Austrian royalty for over a decade. A design superstar in his native Turkey, Atil Kutoglu took Europe and North America by storm with his edgy romantic and mystic designs. He is considered as one of Turkey's biggest exports!

The Turkish government wanted to continue exporting fabrics and garments. In the highly competitive world of fashion, and the with the rising cost of labor in its own countryside, they knew they had to do something to keep their market share.

The solution, the government approached well-known international designers, with Turkish origins like Atil Kutoglu to promote their garment and fabric industries.

Although Atil Kutoglu already adopted Austria as his home, the designer did not turn down the call from his homeland. A true son, he brought the fabrics of his native land to centerstage and proudly announced "Textile In Turkey" by wearing the moniker on a T-shirt in his runway shows.
