Ashley Paige Spring 2005: 'Shipwrecked in LA'

A Florida native, Ashley Paige grew up by the water, and surrounded with swimsuits all her young life.

When she was 18, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a fashion design career and supported herself through college by designing and selling a small collection of bikinis.

Armed with a B.A. in Marketing and fashion design, she moved to New York after graduation, to do freelance design and styling with top photographers and stylists.

She moved back to L.A. and launched her own line of swimsuits and bikinis. Her suits landed on six covers during her first year of business, including the coveted Sports Illustrated calendar.

Kate Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Liv Tyler, Carmen Electra and Ashanti had been seen clad in Ashley Paige swimsuits.

Her swimwear line is sold at Saks Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel, and in her own boutique in Hollywood and Cahuenga Blvd in Los Angeles.
